Privacy Policy

Last updated October 2026

Klazio respects your privacy and handles personal information in line with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its implementing rules. This policy explains what we collect on the Klazio website and enrollment portal, why, and the choices you have.

1. Who is responsible for your information

Enrollment applications. When you apply to a school through Klazio, the school you select decides what information it needs and how it is used for admissions. The school is the personal information controller for your application. Klazio processes the application on the school's behalf and only shares it with that school.

School inquiries and website messages. When you contact Klazio directly, Klazio is responsible for that information.

2. Information we collect

  • Contact details you give us: name, email address, mobile number, and organization.
  • School inquiry details such as school name, location, size, and grade levels offered.
  • Enrollment application details requested by the school, such as the student's name, date of birth, address, previous school, guardian information, answers to school questions, and uploaded documents.
  • Verification records showing that you confirmed your email address or mobile number.
  • Basic technical information such as IP address and browser type, used for security and abuse prevention.

3. How we use information

  • To deliver your application to the school you selected and keep you updated on its status.
  • To respond to school inquiries and messages.
  • To verify your identity with one-time codes sent by email or SMS.
  • To protect the website and portal from spam, fraud, and misuse.
  • To meet legal obligations.

4. Who can see your information

An application is visible only to you and to authorized staff of the school you applied to. A school can never see applications submitted to another school. Application and student information is never shown on public pages or in search engines.

We use trusted service providers to run Klazio — for example, for secure hosting, file storage, email, and SMS delivery. They may only process information to provide their service to us.

5. How long we keep information

Draft applications that are never submitted are deleted automatically after a period of inactivity. Submitted applications are kept according to the school's admissions and records policies. Inquiry and message records are kept for as long as needed to respond and maintain our relationship with you.

6. How we protect information

Information is sent over encrypted connections. Each school's records are stored separately from other schools, access is limited by role, and uploaded documents are only available to authorized users.

7. Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to be informed, to access, to correct, to object, to erasure or blocking, to data portability, and to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.

For an application, contact the school you applied to. For anything else, or if you need help reaching the school, email us at hello@klazio.online.

8. Children's information

Enrollment applications are submitted by a parent or guardian on behalf of the student. By submitting an application, you confirm that you are the student's parent or guardian, or are authorized by them.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
